Habit tracker · iOS, Android, web
Describe the goal. Keep the habit.
You write one paragraph about what you want. Perge asks 8–10 questions and turns it into a plan you can keep: daily actions that roll up to weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.

How it works
Three steps to a plan
-
01
Describe
One paragraph, in your own words. What you want, and why it matters to you.
-
02
Answer
8–10 follow-up questions that change with your goal: when, where, what gets in the way, why it matters.
-
03
Keep
A plan with daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals. You review it before you start, and regenerate it when life changes.
The numbers behind the plan
- 66 days
- The formation window your plan is built around.
- 2 misses
- The default tolerance before a reset. You set it.
- 2 minutes
- The starter version of every habit.
Built so one bad day doesn't end it
Forgiving by design
-
A miss rule you control
Two misses in a row are allowed by default. The third resets the goal percentage for that period. Set the tolerance anywhere from 1 to 7.
-
Two-minute starter steps
Every habit ships with a version that takes two minutes or less, like "do 5 push-ups" or "read pages 2–4". On hard days, that counts.
-
Motivation that matches your why
Reward-mapped motivation cards, tuned to the reason you gave when you set the goal.
Protect the time
Your day, defended
-
Focus blocks
A countdown for the work that needs it, a short setup checklist first, and a one-tap check-in when the time is up.
-
Calendar time-blocking
Habits go on a dedicated "Perge — habits" sub-calendar you can hide in one step. By default Perge reads only free/busy from your other calendars.
-
Health auto-check-in
Workouts from Apple Health or Health Connect check your habits off. Health data is read on your device; only the check-in leaves it.
Why 66 days
Built on the research, not a streak counter
In a 2009 habit-formation study at University College London, Lally and colleagues found that the time it took a new behaviour to become automatic ranged from 18 to 254 days, with a median of about 66. Perge uses 66 days as the default formation window. You can extend it, and a habit stays tracked after day 66.
The same study found that missing a single day did not materially hurt formation. So one miss never resets anything in Perge. By default you can miss two days in a row; the third resets that period's goal percentage, not your 66-day count.
Made for people, not metrics
-
Starting a practice
Write, read, meditate, learn a language. The first step is sized to two minutes, and the plan builds from there.
-
Training for something
A race, a lift, a sport. Workouts from your health app check your training habits off for you.
-
Building a business or a project
Focus blocks, calendar time-blocking and a weekly review keep the work on your calendar, not just on a list.
Your data is yours
